Our workshop will provide information on how to work and design with dried flowers, as well as learning the process of preserving and drying fresh cut bouquets. You will even learn how to make your own fancy bow to add to your floral wreath!

Succulent Arranging Class Outline:

Working with succulents can be messy, so wear something you won’t mind getting a little dirty! You don’t need to bring anything with you, we provide the succulents, vases, decorative elements, and tools you will need to create your arrangement!

Workshop is $50 per person and includes*:

• Garden supplies

• assorted succulents

• 8-10 inch ceramic, zinc, or wooden vessel

• miniatures, soil, gravel, moss, dried flowers

• 1 hour of plant care & design instruction

Join us! Enjoy a cold glass of craft beer with your loved ones and create a succulent terrarium that will be perfect for your workspace or home. This event will allow you to BRING your own container or CHOOSE your favorite container for the event. You will have an option to choose from a gold, bronze, or silver ceramic square vessel (8 inches) If you choose to BRING your own container, your choices are endless.

About the Venue: Smog City West is located in the friendly neighborhood city of Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. Smog City brews well-crafted beers, and personally distribute to restaurants and bars throughout Los Angeles County. They work to create a presence in the craft brewing community and brewed and distributed over 240 barrels in their first year.

Choose a container or containers that will shelter 3-5 succulent blooms (2 inch planters will be provided) and create a unique arrangement with us.  Your container does not need to have drainage holes, so your choices are unlimited! Tea cups, crystal bowls, empty aquariums, ceramic pieces, wooden vessels, hanging terrariums, SPAM cans, drawers, coffee mugs, etc. You will also have an option to CHOOSE your container.  There will be at least 3 types of vessels to choose from.

Only 20 seats available, so register before supplies last!

About the Venue:Liberation Brewing Company is small but mighty, local production brewery with tasting room and take-home growlers. They are BYOF (Bring your Own Food). Please feel free to order in, bring a picnic, or get some amazing Mexican food from next door. The place is full of crazy art, incredible music, games and delicious delicious beer.
